Interesting that you place the responsibility of voting in the same sentence as a need for change.

Suppose one doesn't believe there is a need for "change" ?

If the "war on poverty" was going to work, why has it not brought about "change" in the last 30+ years?

Mr. Obama wants to install the very same financial policies that Jimmy Carter used ... and if you have any inkling of history, you'll know those were a serious disaster.

Michigan is a prime example of what happens when you continue to tax "the rich" ... we are one of the least favorable states to businesses, we have the second highest tax rate for business owners, and therefore are loosing jobs to places where there are no unions.

Currently "the rich" pay most of the taxes in this country. If you continue to tax them, doesn't it make sense that they will want to stop the "bleeding of greenbacks"? Tax a business too much and do you know what they'll do? Of course... pass it on. So you tax a business or a "rich" person and someone down the line is going to loose their job to make up for that loss of money to the business or "rich" owner.

Secondly ... do you know that small business are taxed in MI at about 30% Yes ... your Barber, carpet layer, hairdresser, wedding consultant, etc. People who don't make a zillion bucks a year but do want to own their own business and even those who've managed to progress enough that they have a few employees, are being taxed out of business.

Not that I'm all in favor of McCain's plans, but at least I agree that he his the lesser of the two evils.
