We‘re back from our trip and I have to say that the workshops with Tim Holtz were amazing…. the trip not so much. It was cold and rainy and foggy and I got sick (still am) Picked up the cold virus from somewhere and now its turned into bronchitis. Didn’t see animals except for a couple of eagle flying by our balcony and much too fast for any photos and the Orca which were in abundance, but hard to photograph. I was enthralled with the glaciers and the Tlingit natives at Saxman Village…. those were the two highlights of the trip and I loved Seattle. I took lots of photos, with Bob’s help… he had the camera one whole day on excursion while I was in bed. Check out some of them on the photo gallery site. As far as the art projects….. I can’t wait to get into my studio and work on finishing up the projects we started on the ship. The techniques Tim taught were ones I already had experience with, but he used products in different ways than I have, so that was good. The swaps were fun, came home with lots of new ATC’s and charms…. mine all went All in all I’d rate the whole experience a C+. Looking forward to Tim’s next adventure.
