I found this wonderful site for knitters to share patterns, techniques, ideas, struggles and anything else a knitter needs to talk about. Ravelry.com is the new message board in my life. Not only are general topics shared, but there are groups broken down into interests…. like Knitters who wear Birkenstocks, knitters who have poodles, knitters who use MACs, etc. There are hundreds.  It’s also a place where I can store information on my own pieces, stash, books, needles and whatever. Yes, I’ve found still another place to spend my computer time. Tres cool!  So with all this valuable information at my fingertips, what’s the problem? Finishing multiple projects that just got left in the middle or starting new? I’ve found through the years that I get bored easily.. small quick projects are perfect, but knitting a sweater may take years. I’d love to wear an item within the same year I started it. You’d think, huh?

Yep, I feel the same way about large projects. The only time I got jumpers and such finished quickly was pre-scrapping, pre-cross stitch, pre-marriage (probably even pre-boys!!) That would be when I was still at school!! Maybe I’ll go and check out the site.
